Éléonore Pitre, Elisapie, Kaytranada, Léonie Gray, Philippe Brach, and Souldia Honored at the 5th Edition of the Gala Artisti

Montreal, May 5, 2025 — The 5th edition of the Gala Artisti took place on May 1st at the Lion d’Or, transforming the iconic Montreal venue into a vibrant celebration space dedicated to Artisti’s members.

Hosted with wit and flair by Catherine Ethier, the Gala delivered a memorable evening filled with standout moments. The audience was treated to remarkable performances by Alphonse Bisaillon, Léonie Gray, Ramon Chicharron, Rosier and Olivier Faubert.

Throughout the night, six performing artists were honored, reaffirming Artisti’s essential role in recognizing and celebrating their talent. Artisti awarded five prizes, each accompanied by a $1,000 grant: the Lumière Award to Éléonore Pitre, the Coup de Coeur Award to Elisapie, the Rayonnement Award to Kaytranada, the Découverte Award to Léonie Gray, and the Audace Award to Philippe Brach. For the third time, the Artists’ Foundation joined Artisti in presenting its Bienveillance Award, also accompanied by a $1,000 grant, to Souldia.

These nominations were the result of a rigorous selection process led by two juries composed of music industry professionals, with the exception of the Coup de Coeur Award, which was voted on directly by Artisti’s members, and the Bienveillance Award, whose recipient was chosen by a peer committee from the Artists’ Foundation.

Artisti warmly thanks its generous sponsors — Caisse de la Culture Desjardins, iA Groupe Financier, the Union des Artistes, the Guilde des musiciens et des musiciennes du Québec, Long & McQuade, M for Montreal, Mundial Montreal, and MusicTeam® — for making this wonderful evening possible.
